How To Adopt
It's easy to adopt a dog! For only $65, you'll receive:
- Screening process
- Spaying or neutering
- All vaccinations
- Chicago pet license
- Wolves dog collar
After this 10-minute process, the dog is yours to take home!
Whether the love of your life is a pure breed or an all-American mix, the price is the same at Animal Care and Control.
Dogs and Puppies: $65.00 (Cash ONLY at the games)
Fee includes spay or neuter, Chicago City license, Rabies inoculation*, booster for Distemper, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza, Parvo-virus (DHLPP), Heartworm test, Microchip.
*Puppies who are too young will not receive rabies protection, which is required for the City License.*
Be ready to Adopt:
Bring a photo ID. If you rent, bring your lease saying that you can have a dog or provide your landlord's phone number. If you have had a dog in the last five years, bringing vet records may help.
Microchip: A microchip is the latest high-tech micro identification technology which enables veterinarians, animal hospitals and shelters across the nation to provide your pet with a lifetime of protection. If your pet should ever be stolen, the microchip will identify your pet.
Adopting a pet is an important commitment for the rest of your pet's life. Please consider this decision carefully.
The Chicago Department for Animal Care and Control Animobile
The Wolves also sponsor the Chicago Department of Animal Care and Control Animobile – an innovative mobile adoption unit and clinic.
The Animobile is a free and convenient mobile adoption unit, as well as a top-drawer, modern clinic staffed by veterinarians and adoption pros. It is air-conditioned and heated for year-round use, and can hold up to 25 dogs and cats at one time.
Provided by the Chicago Wolves and City of Chicago Commission on Animal Care and Control (CACC), the Animobile will be traveling around the city to help decrease the number of stray animals. Please join the Wolves in finding permanent homes for Chicago's homeless dogs.
The Animobile is coming to your neighborhood!
The Chicago Wolves have been partners with CACC in helping homeless dogs for several years. The Wolves not only host Adopt-A-Dog Nights throughout the season, but Wolves Owner Don Levin (pictured) purchased and donated the Animobile to CACC.
