Chicago Wolves fans helped local students get off to a good, active start this school year by participating in the team's School Supply & Sports Equipment drive. New school supplies and sports equipment such as hula hoops, rubber balls, soccer balls, jump ropes, footballs, etc., were collected at the games on October 27-28.
Supplies and equipment will be donated to Sue Duncan Children's Center.
From the Sue Duncan Children's Center:
"Thanks to you and the Wolves for the latest amazing gift of school supplies--what a bonanza! Supplies are always badly needed, this year more than ever as we've taken attendance to new highs. So the pens, pencils, colored pencils, erasers, markers, compasses, stickers, scissors, notebooks, composition books, folders, binders, backpacks and everything else are greatly appreciated. Also, a special thanks from myself and my staff to those who included "grown-up" supplies--dry erase markers and permanent markers--very thoughtful. The partnership with the Wolves continues to be a blessing to us! THANKS!!!"
