After becoming the first goaltender in franchise history to record shutouts in back-to-back starts on Feb. 1 and Feb. 9, netminder Wendell Young accomplished the feat again three weeks later, defeating Kansas City, 3-0, on Feb. 26, and Orlando, 1-0, on March 1, in two road games. Young goes on to record six shutouts throughout the season, a franchise record.
